Stone, Thatch and Open Countryside
From the lane, the cottage presents a traditional face: honey-coloured stone beneath a deep thatched roof. Behind it, the ground falls away to a striped lawn and planted borders, and a long terrace runs the length of the house behind a frameless glass balustrade, so nothing interrupts the view across the valley.

Open-Plan Living with the Landscape in View
Inside, a contemporary extension opens the ground floor into one long kitchen, dining and living space. Full-height sliding glass runs along the terrace side and roof lights sit overhead, so the fields stay in view from the kitchen island to the sofa.

Garden-Level Bedroom and Bathroom
On the lower floor, the main bedroom and bathroom open straight on to the garden, each with glazed doors framing the same view of fields and woodland. Captura photographs and films country homes across Bath, South Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds for agents including Knight Frank, every image edited by hand and delivered portal-ready.
