A Barn Conversion Above the Chew Valley
The opening aerial shows the barn where it sits, on the edge of the Mendips and looking out over the Chew Valley to the lake. Closer in, the red sandstone walls and the full-height glazing set into the old cart entrance show how much of the original barn has been kept, and the entrance hall runs straight through beneath exposed oak beams.

Oak Beams, Stone and an Inglenook Fireplace
Inside, oak beams run the length of the sitting room to a stone inglenook with a wood-burning stove. Mullioned windows look out over the lawn, one with a deep cushioned window seat, and a separate snug gives the house a second, quieter living room.

Property Photography Across the Chew Valley
Upstairs, a roll-top bath sits beneath a small cottage window in a sage-green bathroom. Captura photographs and films homes across the Chew Valley, Bristol and Somerset for agents including Killens, every image edited by hand and delivered within 24–48 hours.
