Timber Trusses, Parquet and Gothick Arches

At the heart of the house, a tall room rises to exposed timber trusses above a herringbone parquet floor, with pointed Gothick doorways and a staircase alongside. The sitting room has a beamed ceiling over more parquet, and the beamed kitchen and dining room is built around a red range cooker.
